Conflict Minerals Policy

ZAPI GROUP recognizes its responsibility to conduct business ethically and in a socially responsible manner. As part of our commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, we acknowledge the importance of ensuring that the minerals used in our products do not finance or contribute to armed conflict or human rights violations.

Our Policy
Conflict minerals refer to columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite, wolframite, gold, and the derivatives tantalum, tin, and tungsten (3TGs) and additional minerals referred as well as Extended Minerals in scope, without regard to the location of origin.

ZAPI GROUP recognizes that it has a responsibility to source minerals ethically, regardless of our regulatory obligations, and perform due diligence process that aligns with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (OECD Guidance) to determine the origin of any minerals that may have been sourced from high-risk regions. To further this goal, leverages the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) to gather and exchange supply chain information for risk assessment, mitigation plans and improvement of the supply chain as standard improvement process.

ZAPI GROUP sponsors suppliers to establish their own responsible minerals policies, due diligence frameworks, and management systems that align with RMI and OECD guidance. Suppliers programs should be designed to prevent conflict minerals from being included in the products sold to ZAPI GROUP. Compliance with the policy for the business partners is to be considered as a business enabler.

We will communicate this policy to all relevant stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and customers. Training programs will be implemented to ensure awareness and understanding of our commitments and expectations regarding conflict minerals and extended minerals to confirm that ZAPI GROUP is dedicated to conducting business in a manner that upholds our values of integrity, respect, and accountability. By adhering to this Conflict Minerals and Extended Minerals Policy, we reaffirm our commitment to responsible mineral sourcing and ethical business practices.
