ZAPI GROUP’s System Integration Specialists, 4E-Consulting, Unveil Five Innovative Solutions at EIMA 2024

Poviglio, IT - November 6, 2024 - ZAPI GROUP, through its system integration specialists 4E-Consulting, will showcase five groundbreaking collaborative solutions, some of which have been recognized with the Technical Innovation Award, at the 2024 International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition (EIMA) in Bologna, Italy on November 6-10, 2024. The Technical Innovation Awards highlight products that enhance quality, manufacturing, safety, and environmental sustainability in agriculture and gardening.

4E-Consulting, acquired by ZAPI GROUP in 2022, provides increased partnering capability with OEM customers by acting as the system integration specialist for the group, which includes 1,700 employees across independent companies. Each company specializes in electrification, offering products like inverters, motors, converters, and battery chargers. 4E-Consulting manages projects by selecting and integrating components for clients new to electrification or upgrading existing equipment and vehicles from blank paper to turnkey solution in as little as eight months for a running proof of concept.

The following five solutions, enabled by 4E-Consulting, will be highlighted at EIMA:

1. Alysium by Alpego - A high-voltage electric rotary harrow, named a Technical Innovation in 2024. Powered by 700 V DC from the towing vehicle, it features five electric motors, each controlling an input gear. The motors are electronically controlled for precise operation, improving controllability. Future developments aim for real-time adaptation to soil conditions. Hall 26 Stand A/17.

2. EnerG by Forigo Roter Italia - A full-electric rover and bed former seeder, also a Technical Innovation award recipient. This 80-volt machine is ready for autonomous driving, integrated by 4E-Consulting using exclusively ZAPI GROUP components. Designed for the horticultural sector, it can carry up to three soil-working attachments to maximize efficiency. Hall 26 Stand A/50.

3. Stellantis-VM Motori - 1.3-liter, 3-cylinder Multijet SDE, R304 engine, focusing on hybrid off-highway applications, including on-road sweepers. Hall 15 Stand A/13.

4. Ferri's High-Voltage Shredder - Marks a shift towards 700V high-voltage forestry equipment: efficiency and performance at a glance. Hall 36 Stand A/2.

5. Grim Srl's Hybrid Self-Propelled Sprayer - Powered by diesel engine hybridized with electric motor and including fully electrified spraying system. Hall 30 Stand A/6.
